FULL – Future Urban Legacy Lab – is the international interdepartmental research center of the Politecnico di Torino that investigates the present and the future of cities, on a global and local scale.

In 2021, we have designed their new website, aiming to publish and make publicly available the incredible amount of content produced by the centre’s activities. The research projects and publications, plus the multimedia contents generated through the busy agenda of events, are proof the center has not stopped despite the critical issue of 2020. Also the press review documents the real impact of the research of FULL.

The graphic design is based on the reinterpretation of the historical graphic identity of FULL. The combination of the serif and sans serif is radicalised by choosing Arial and Times New Roman for the whole website, two default typefaces that also ensure maximum speed for the content loading. The use of red and blue is downsized by using a minimal palette to enhance the different contents and new colors are added to differentiate the different sections.

The result is an editorial tool that combines radical choices with a classic language. Future and Legacy together, as promised by the research center.
